Hi

I am trying to contact Bru.

I am part of a team who are making a documentary series about the internet, and yesterday discovered Twitter, and would like to talk to him about it.

could you email me, please?

best wishes

Oh fickle fame! It's like Technorati. One day you're 563,968 and the next you're 568,252.

I agree that Twitter is as great as ever as an idea (they haven't really changed much at all, if anything, lately), I just don't think they were prepared for the sudden leap in interest coming out of SXSW. C'mon Yahoo, buy it and throw some serious cash at it already! ;)

Is Twitter built on Rails? Could it become (or is it already) the largest Ruby on Rails app in production, in terms of users/usage?

Server upgrades and groups are both needed very soon. As soon as people are able to easily form and disintegrate groups of their friends, and follow selected groups when they choose, there will be less complaints about too much background noise. And for those of us that love the background noise, we'll be able to structure it a bit more, changing our noise-level exposure depending on mood or activity.

Oh twitterdee, twitterdom! I admire your faithful presence on twitter! For me it oscillates between entertainment and annoyance, but I will confess that it has interesting pieces of occasionally interesting information. Knowing, like in face-to-face, the people on my friends list makes all the difference.

Agree that all this twitter noise is however no fun when the site is simply either too slow or will not load at all... I just can not deal with it on my mobile, only look at it on the web.
